Ashley Oleson has been an invaluable part of "League" for the past 5 years and we are sorry to see her leave us, but at the same time applaud her for thinking about  her future and choosing a path that builds on her strengths.  This leaves the position of Maryland State Director open at this time.

On 1/6/2021 the Search Committee appointed by the LWVMD Board released the following updated position posting:

The League of Women Voters of Maryland is seeking a self-starting  individual to join our organization as our State Director.  The State Director is an evolving position of leadership working with the Board of Directors and League volunteers.  The perfect candidate would be enthusiastic, have organizational skills, be a creative thinker and problem solver and have the ability to work with and through others to accomplish the goals of the organization. Preference will be given to persons with experience working with the League or other non-profit organizations.

During non-COVID times, the expectation is that the State Director will have a presence in the Annapolis office, especially in the January-April timeframe when the Maryland Legislature is in session.

Please submit a current resume and letter of interest to [email protected] by 5pm on January 19th.   The letter of interest should include personal goals, specific reasons for an interest in the position and salary requirements.
